Skills
While you are casually leveling up quickly you should also be skilling up, which is the point of killing everything you see. Three skills you absolutley need during your novice time are Freeze, Magic Arrow, and Regeneration. The others are completley up to you, and your wallet. Two other very important skills are the Mana and Vitality Mastery in the upgrade skills. A trick I have found to get good XP is to take higher monsters such as Zombies, Lynxhorns, and Zombie Lynxhorns (along with other monsters of that level) and use magic arrow and freeze. First, use Magic Arrow to get thier attention, then stun with Freeze. Use these as a neverending cabal alz combo and you will get some great XP off of them, without an attack from them. You should also have Dash (sword skill) on your quickbar in case they get too close. Simply freeze, dash, freeze, dash, arrow, then back to arrow, freeze. This allows you to take monsters 15- 20 levels higher than yourself, and reap the benefits.
Level 10-20
Since you should have your combo mode by now, this will make grinding easier than ever. If anything I would bypass the quests, and just skill, skill, skill. Keep killing those higher monsters to get the drops (dropped items) and sell them to keep your Alz up incase you want to have potions around. I have found a constant supply of MP potions to be an extreme amount of help. Once again your first goal should be to satisfy your growth level requirements before anything. Grab an amulet of intelligence and a couple rings at the alchemist's shop while your at it.
Skills
At this point, do not allow your charachter to be above level 15 without reaching apprentice level. It gives you loads of time to get to Regular before level 31 since you need 62 skill points. The apprentice skills you will require are Mana/Vitality Mastery, LV2 Regeneration LV2, Icicle Shower, Dig Bomb and one Blast skill of your choice. The more expensive the blast, the stronger it is, but for all intensive purposes stick with Magic Blast as your best bet.
*One of the most important things you can do on this game is make friends. If you have good friends than it is quite certain you will be already ahead of the game. I've found that skilling with a friend makes grinding easy and quick, and parties offer even more XP. Take advantage of the massive population on that game and get yourself some damn friends
